Liquichip Technology and Its Application in Detection of Protein and Nucleic Acid

摘要: Luminex液相芯片技术是1990年代兴起的,集合流式细胞技术、激光技术、微球数字信号处理技术为一体的新型检测技术。与传统的临床检测方法相比,其主要优点在于高通量、高敏感、重复性高、检测范围广、反应速度快,仅需微量样品即可进行检测等。Luminex具有两大核心技术:xMAP®技术和xTAG®技术。xMAP®技术利用抗原-抗体反应的原理,可用于蛋白质和核酸的检测;xTAG®技术能够测定若干基因组形式,如基因表达分析、微RNA分析、单核苷酸多态性(single nucleotide polymorphism, SNP)分析、特定序列的检测等。

Abstract: Liquichip is a new type of detection technology developed in the 1990s, which is integrated with flow cytometry, laser technology and digital signal processing. Compared with the traditional clinical detection methods, the main advantages are the high-throughput, high-sensitivity, high reproducibility, wide detection range, fast response, and only small amount of testing sample wanted. Luminex has two core technologies: xMAP® technology and xTAG® Technology. xMAP® technology utilizing an antigen-antibody reaction principle, can be used for the detection of proteins and nucleic acids. xTAG® technology can be used for a number of genomic assay formats such as gene expression analysis, microRNA analysis, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)analysis, specific sequence detection and other applications.
