Progress of Microtus Fortis in Research and Application of Medical Biology

摘要: 东方田鼠具有天然抗日本血吸虫的特性,是我国特有的血吸虫病抗性模型动物,也可作为糖尿病、卵巢癌、非酒精性脂肪肝等研究的模型动物。本文综述了东方田鼠的分类与分布、形态、生物学特性及其作为抗日本血吸虫病、糖尿病、卵巢癌、非酒精性脂肪肝等医学动物模型的研究进展。

Abstract: Microtus fortis which has the characteristics of natural resistance to Schistosoma japonicum,has been developed as a unique model animal for schistosomiasis resistance in China.It can also be used as a model animal for the study of diabetes,ovarian cancer and nonalcoholic fatty liver.In this paper,the classification,distribution,morphology and biological characteristics of Microtus fortis were reviewed,and the progresses of the study on the animal models of schistosomiasis,diabetes,ovarian cancer and nonalcoholic fat were summarized.
