定向培育短尾KM小鼠初报

Directive Breeding on Short Tail of KM Mice

摘要: 封闭群KM小鼠经4代定向培育已成为尾静脉清晰的短尾KM小鼠群。对其尾长和生长繁殖性能进行测定分析的结果表明:经定向培育后的短尾群小鼠4周龄时尾长为67.5±6.0mm,明显短于未经选育的对照群(80.3±12.6mm;P<0.01);其窝产仔数、窝离乳仔数及仔鼠体重与对照群间无明显差异(P>0.05)。

Abstract: In order to facilitate intravenous injection of mice, directive breeding on short tail and clear tail vein of KM mice was done for 4 generations by using rotational mating system, and their tail length, growth and reproductive performance were measured and observed. The results showed that the average tail length of the short tail KM mice after directive breeding was 67.5±6.0mm at 4 weeks old,shorter than that(80.3±12.6mm,P<0.01) of the control ones (KM mice) , while no significant differences were found in body weights, litter size and weanling number. The rate of the mice with clear tail vein in short tail KM mice(n= 200) was 95% while in control ones(n=160) 20%.
