A New Method Rearing Diamondback Moth without Larva Shift

摘要: 目的 摸索小菜蛾饲养新方法。方法 直接把莲花白幼苗放入饲养笼中,让小菜蛾在幼苗上产卵,而且不用转移卵孵化后的幼虫。结果 化蛹率为75.8%~77.4%,孵化率为79.9%~89.0%。结论 该方法操作简单、实用性强,化蛹率和孵化率高,适合于小菜蛾的批量繁殖。

Abstract: Objective To explore a new method rearing diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.).Methods Put brassica oleracea seeding into rearing cage directly, let diamondback moth produce eggs on the seeding, and a new method without larva shift was set up. Results The egg hatch percentage is 75.8% 77.4% and the pupa emergence is 79.9% 89.0%. Conclusion This technology has a characteristic of good practicability and is easy to operate for mass rearing.
