壮骨胶囊抑制去势大鼠骨密度降低的作用

Effect of a Kind of Strong-bone Capsule on Increasing Bone Mineral Density in Castrated Female Rat

摘要: 目的 探讨壮骨胶囊抑制去势雌性大鼠骨密度降低的效应及其作用机制。方法 分别以0.17、0.33和1.00 g/kg体重三种剂量的壮骨胶囊喂养去势雌性大鼠3个月,测定大鼠体重、股骨重量、股骨钙含量及骨密度等指标; 同时以相同剂量的该壮骨胶囊对离乳大鼠进行钙吸收实验,测定大鼠体重、身长、粪钙和摄食量等指标,计算钙表观吸收率。结果 剂量为0.33和1.00 g/kg组大鼠的股骨远心端和中点骨密度、股骨骨钙含量显著高于对照组大鼠; 三种剂量的壮骨胶囊对离乳大鼠粪钙、摄入钙和钙表观吸收率与碳酸钙对照组相比亦均无显著性差异(P>0.05)。结论 该壮骨胶囊可能通过补钙和调节骨代谢等途径抑制去势雌性大鼠的骨密度降低。

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of a kind of Strong-bone Capsule on increasing bone mineral density (BMD) in castrated female rats, and explore its mechanisms. Methods Castrated female rats were treated with three different doses of the capsule (0.17, 0.33 and 1.00 g/kg) for three months, then the weight of rats, weight of the femur, the bone calcium content and BMD were examined; meanwhile, the calcium absorption experiment was also carried out on weanling rats with the same doses of each capsule, where the weight, body length, feces calcium content, ingestion content of the rats were measured and the uptake rate of calcium was calculated. Results The distal end and mid-point of the femur BMD in the moderate and high dose groups were significantly higher than that of the model control group; there were no significant differences of feces calcium content, ingestion content and uptake rate of calcium between the strong-bone capsule groups and calcium carbonate control group(P>0.05). Conclusion The capsule could increase the BMD of castrated rats by supplying calcium and regulating bone metabolism.
