I by Ch-T method. Its distribution and radioimmunoimaging in the nude mice bearing human hepatoma BEL-7402 were studied. Between 24-120 h after intraperitoneal administration, the image of the concentrating radioactivity in tumor was obtained by the 丫 camera and it was the clearest during 72—96 h; whereas the injection 6f

I-mIgG into the nude mice resulted in an equal distribution in the whole body without any selectivity. At 72 h after the injection of

I-McAb JHW, the radioactivity ratioes of tumor/normal tissue (T/NT) for 13 kinds of organ/tissue were all over 5, and the localization index of tumor was 7.07. These results showed that McAbJHⅢ may be used in the localization and targeting treatment of human hepatocellular carcinoma.

) at 37℃ in 7-day-old SD rats. The relationship between beta-endorphin and encephaledema was observed in the established models. The encephaledema was deteriorated after the injection of beta-endorphin into cerebellomedullary cistern, while it was alleviated by the injection of beta-endorphin antiserum. It is suggested that beta-endorphin might play a role in the formation of encephaledema induced by cerebral hypoxic-ischemic injury in neonatal rats and plethoric beta-endorphin will aggravate encephaledema.

Gastric ulcer was duplicated in 40 Wistar rats by injection of 20% acetic acid under their gastric mucosae. Ten rats, stomaches were opened for observation every week after the injection. The results showed that the duplicated gastric ulcers were very typical and the incidence was as high as 100% within two weeks. The renovation of the ulcers was very fast during the 3 rd week, and by the end of the 3 rd week 4 cases of ulcer can be seen in 10 rats. At thw 4 th week there was only 1 case of ulcer in 10 rats, and the gastric mucosae were renovated markedly. The renovating course is similar to that of human gastr ulcers.

The arthroplasty of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) by transplanting an autogenous costochondral graft in juvenile male pigs was described, which includes the removal of autogenous costochondral segment, the unilateral condylectomy and the reconstruction of the missing condyle. The established animal model might provide an ideal means for the study of TMJ arthroplasty.

One hundred SD male rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: group A, 45 rats, ureaplasma urealyticum (u. u. ) were inoculated into the bladders; group B, 22 rats, in addition to the inoculation of u. u., minomycin(20-100 mg/kg.day) was administrated for 14 days 3 months after the inoculation; group C, 33 rats as the control. The results showed that (1) the u. u. infective rates were 87.5%, 20% and 0% for group A, B and C respectively (

810-week-old BALB/c mice of clean category were inoculated with Sendai virus in both IP and O. N. routes, and injected with pentobarbital (60 mg/kg) 1 week after the inoculation. Sleeping durations induced by pentobarbital of the test and control groups were 28.2±11.5, 41.6±9.3 minutes respectively (

Hepatic cells of 4~7-day-old mice were cultured, and infected with Sendai virus, then propranolol was added, very significant difference in the propranolol concentration was observed through HPLC between the test and control groups 20 minutes after propranolol being added (

<0.01). This suggested that Sendai virus infection maked the propranolol metabolism suppressed in the hepatic cells.

Buchner is the only kind of rodent resistant to Schistosoma jap-onica. Through 2 years domestication, the animals(
M. fortis Buchner
) captured from Yueyang area in Hunan province had basically adapted to the conventional breeding environment of laboratory rodents (ambient temperature, 18-26℃; relative humidi-ty, 60%—70%), grown and developed well, and gradually regained its' normal reproductivity. Its' sexual maturity was at 75-80 days old.The first mating was at 85—90 days old, the gestation length was 21 days, the average litter size 3.7, and the weaning rate 68.75%.
