Abstract: The step down test and morris water maze test were applied to examine the learning and acquisition ability of the transgenic mice of Alzhimer’s disease. In step down test, the APP695 transgenic mice at the age of 3 months showed siginificant difference in counts of errors and latency time as comparing with those of the control group (P<0.01). In water maze test,9 months old APP695 and APP751 transgenic mice showed great difference in total counts and latency time as compared with those of the control group. It was suggested that the transgenic model’s behavior was conformed to the behavior of the early stage of human Alzhimer’s disease.
