Advances on Developmental Toxicity of Cadmium in Zebrafish Embryos

Abstract: Cadmium is a widespread non-essential heavy metal in occupational and living environment.It is toxic to multiple organs in animals. This review is given on advanced data on potential developmental toxicity as well as the mechanisms of cadmium in zebrafish embryos which provides a reference for further studies on toxicological effects of cadmium in the development of other vertebrates.
