Abstract:

Laboratory animal science is an emerging interdisciplinary subject, and it is also the crucial component of talent cultivation, scientific research, and technological innovation in medical schools. At the same time, experimental animals are indispensable guarantees for human health-related research and exploration. Therefore, scientific training model determines the role of laboratory animal science workers playing in medical research. This article, based on the teaching practices and achievements of the industry-education integration college established during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, analyzes a "three-in-one" talent training model for medical laboratory animals in medical schools through the construction of industry-education integration colleges, which integrates curriculum system, scientific research and industry-education integration. From multiple perspectives, including national strategic needs, practical social needs, disciplinary development needs, and the school's talent training positioning, it elucidates the significant importance of constructing a professional talent training system for laboratory animals science in medical colleges..
