Establishment of Thromboangitis Obliterans Model in Rat

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this experiment is to develop a rat model with Thromboangitis Obliterans （TAO）.The Wisar rats were treated with tobacoo sensitization,cold exposure, injection of TAO immune extract and altering of sexial hormone level, which are generally accepted as the important etiologic factors of TAO. Through observation of acromelic sign,pathological and electromi-croscopic scanning and hemorrheology examination,it was found all the changes occurred in these rat models were comparable to those of human TAO.
