Abstract: To elucidate the importance of intact animal model in pharmacological study of antiinflammatory-immunomodulating drugs （AIIDs） , some progress of intact animal models in antiinflammatory-immunomodulating pharmacology were reviewed，such as animal model of adjuvant arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, immunological liver injury,acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, Alzheimer disease，transplantation immune, immuno-neurologic disfunction and mucosal tolerance, and consequently to provide new ideas on pharmacological study of AIIDs and therapy of inflammatory and immunological diseases.
