Study on Chromosomes of the Banna Miniature Pig

摘要: 采用外周血淋巴细胞及肺成纤维细胞培养方法,以及C带、G带显带和银染技术,对云南版纳微型猪进行了染色体显带研究。测量了染色体的相对长度、着丝点指数及臂比。结果表明,Ag-NORs(银染核仁形成区)定位于7号和10号染色体,版纳微型猪的G带带型与其它家猪相似,C带和Ag-NORs具有多态性。与滇南小耳猪相比较,其C带基本一致,但Ag-NORs差异较大。

Abstract: G - banding,C - banding and Silver - staining techniques have been used to study the chromosomes of the Banna miniature pig. The relative length, centromere index and arm ratio of each individual chromosome were measured. The G - banding pattern of the chromosomes in the Banna miniature pig is similar to those of other domestic pigs. The sites of NORs were located on the chromosome 7 and 10 of the Banna miniature pig. The C - banding and Ag - NORs presented polymorphism. The C - banding pattern of the Banna miniature pig is similar to that of the Diannan small ear pig,but there are great differences in Ag -NORs between them.
