摘要： 报告作为动脉粥样硬化症模型动物的NJS系小鼠的培育历史与建系方法，包括基代来源、育种目标、技术原理、育种手段、繁殖方式、饲养管理等。并对近交过程中出现的繁殖性能下降和定向选择下血清胆固醇水平变化，以及所采用的培育方法和饲养管理措施的可行性进行了探讨。
Abstract: "The establishment of NJS strain mouse as atherosclerosis model,including the origin,breeding objectives，breeding method, reproductive system，care and management were reported. The problem of decreasing in reproductive performence, the change of serum cholesterol level during the course of inbreeding and directive selection，and the feasibility of breeding method were discussed.
