"A strain of virus, isolated from a stool specimen of a canine with clinical hemorrhagic enteritis, was confirmed to be Canine Parvovirus by its physicochemical characteristics, analysis of its nuclear acid type, electronic and immunoelcctronic microscopic observation, experimental infection on puppies, hemagglutination test and hemagglutin-ation-inhibition test, and serum neutralization assay. It was found that no fetal bovine serum in the maintaining fluid of the cell culture and inoculation on fresh cells were beneficial to the propagation of this virus. "

"Four Macaca speciosa without infected HBV naturally were selected for this study. Two of them used as HBV infection, another Two for the contra 1. The serum of animals were drawn once for every 2 to 4 weeks in the first year, and for every 2 to 4 months in the second year. The positive of SGPT, HBV markers, HBV-DNA, Dane particles were observed by R-F, RPHA, ELISA, SPRIA, Hybridization spot test and EM, respectively. The HBsAg-positive lasted for 52( 1#)and 53(8.) weeks. Performed liver biopsy in various period, and spccimcnts were observed for HBsAg, HBeAg and HBV-DNA by light microscope, EM, histochemistry, immuno-histochemistry and in situ hybridization. The results showed that the tested animals developed into acute to chronic hepatitis B and their features resemble that in human. We also inoculated sera from 1* and 8* into 13* which the SGPT and HBsAg positive stronger at 28 weeks, but it died for dysentery at 8 th days, so that observation stopped. "

A cell line, which designated BMAC, was established from spontanously adenocarcinoma in BALB/c mice. The pathologic features are typical of mammary adenocarcinoma. The C-typc virus paticles were found within the tumor and cell line by the electron microscpc. The line has been subcultured 112 passage. The cell growth is rapid and stable. The mitoticindex reached 49‰ on day 4. The chromosome number of this line was usually pscudodiploid, the modal number of chromosome being 40~41. Homotransplant efficiency was 100 %(15/15). The transplanted tumors were similar to the primary one in both morphology and histology. It was indecated that this line still retains the primary tumor's feature and behavior.
