Abstract: The spatiotemporal and controlled gene expression has always been a problem that people hope to solve. In the mouse, this has been accomplished by using Cre/LoxP, GAL4/UAS, conditional RNA interference and other systems at the DNA, transcriptional, posttranscriptional and posttranslational level. This paper reviews several methods and the latest progress of conditional control of gene expression in the mouse.
