Abstract: The portal circulation was reduced by partial occlusion of the superior mesen-tcric artery, and the consequent influences on superoxide dismutase （SOD） and or-gans functions were studied.The results showed that there was a marked reduction in SOD contents in the liver, lung and blood accompanics by the functional impai-rment of the organs damage after ischemia and reperfusion.
