Using indirect immunofluorescent assay(IFA) to detect specific antibodies to MCMV in experimentally infected CBA mice, it was found that anti-MCMV antibodies could be detected 7 days postinfection, and reached its highest peak 28 days postinfection, then gradually decreased after 105 days. Kunming mice had the similar pattern, but because of their high natural infection rate in the control group, the high titers of specific antibodies might reflect the secondly response to MCMV infection. Our results indicated that IFA could be used for early diagnosis of MCMV infection.

"We observed image state of the rats and mice with 99 mTc-DX that were made by ourself. The usefulness of 99 mTc-Dextran with a molecular weight of 48,000,injection size of 0.1 ml(0.2~0.5 mci) .Rat injected site from the tail vein, mice injected site from the skin of hind or front interdigits, the animal observed imaging with SPECT. The results yielded high-quality scintigraphy of the liver, kidney in rat and radionuclide of the mouse. We conclude that 99 mTc-DX is a very promising agent for lymphoscintigraphy. Animals as well as pilot studies in man produced high-contrast images of the lymph system. The potential value of this new radiopharmaceutical for diagnosis and follow-up of animal with cancer, cancer lymph metastasis, and animal laboratory studies of targeting therapy on liver cancer. "

"The experiment was carried out from October to December, 1986. 10 adult female rhesus monkeys were divided into five groups and each group includes two monkeys. The monkeys of group B and E had normal menstrual cycles. The menstrual cycles of group A and C were not in consideration and the menstrual cyclcs of group D were induced artificially by 50 mg progesterone and 4 mg PGF 2 a. All monkeys were superstimulated by daily injection of gonadotrophin hormones. Four superstimulated methods were performed. 49 oocytes were collected by the surgical operation in 19~36 hours after hCG treatment. The semen was collected by elcctric-ejaculation 4~6 hours before oocytes collection. The oocytes and semen were prcincubated and fertilized in F-10 medium at 37℃ in a humidified incubutor under 5% CO2 in air. 2 of 8 oocytes showed morphological signs consistent with fertilization 35 h later: a two pronucleus embryo and a morula-staged embryo.
