Abstract: Objective To explore a new method rearing diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.).Methods Put brassica oleracea seeding into rearing cage directly, let diamondback moth produce eggs on the seeding, and a new method without larva shift was set up. Results The egg hatch percentage is 75.8% 77.4% and the pupa emergence is 79.9% 89.0%. Conclusion This technology has a characteristic of good practicability and is easy to operate for mass rearing.
