Abstract

Abstract: In the present paper, common rodent models for colorectal cancer are systematically discussed and reviewed with regard to preparation methods, experimental observation means and drug evaluation system, etc. Additionally, the few disadvantage of animal model of human colorectal cancer are analyzed. The review will be beneficial for research in fields of colorectal cancer concerning carcino-genesis mechanism, chemopre vent ion, drug development.
