In August 2023, the Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine (LACM) (ISSN 1671-5817, CN 31-1954/Q) was reviewed by the WHO Western Pacific Region Journal Review Committee and included in the WHO Western Pacific Region Index Medicus (WPRIM) .
WPRIM is an important component of the Global Health Library (GHL), which relies on projects collaborated by the WHO Western Pacific Regional Office and several institutions in its member countries. It mainly collects journal literature resources covering biomedical and health fields published by member countries in the Western Pacific region of the WHO, in order to achieve global sharing of medical and health-related information in the region and promote the dissemination and utilization of medical-related information worldwide. Approximately 800 journals have been included up to now.
As of now, LACM has been included in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) of Sweden, Chemical Abstracts, Ulrichsweb Global Serials Directory, EBSCO, CAB Abstracts, Global Health, ICI World of Journals, ICI Master List and WPRIM.
