CHEN Xuejin, with a Ph.D., is currently serving as a Professor of Professional Practice at the CUHK-Shenzhen School of MEDICINE, and also acting as the director of the Laboratory Animal Resource Center. He is the Vice President of the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences and the President of the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Science Association.
He graduated with a Ph.D. in Animal Genetics, Breeding, and Reproduction from China Agricultural University in 1999. He has long been engaged in research on laboratory animal science, animal embryo engineering, animal cloning, animal transgenesis, and animal embryonic stem cells. He has led over 10 research projects funded by the National 863 Program, National Transgenic Project, National Natural Science Foundation, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and Shanghai Agricultural Commission. He has published more than 30 SCI papers.
