• WANG Zhaoxia, M.D. (Shinshu University, Japan), Postdoctoral Fellow in Immunology (Duke University, USA), Research Professor, currently serves as Director of the Laboratory Animal Center and Doctoral Supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She also serves as an Expert for the National Health Commission Advanced Talent Evaluation Program, Council Member of the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Science Association, and Council Member of the Shanghai Zoological Society.

    Her research focuses on medical laboratory animal science, utilizing disease model mice as tools to investigate the mechanisms of human diseases. She places particular emphasis on the molecular mechanisms underlying the effects of nicotine on the body, including the immune, nervous, cardiovascular, and reproductive systems, as well as methodological research in laboratory animal science, such as microbiological detection in laboratory animals, preparation of human disease animal models, and animal facility management. Her experimental techniques and methods span multiple disciplines, including immunology, cell biology, and molecular biology.

    To date, she has led or participated in multiple research projects, including the National "863" Program and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published over forty SCI-indexed papers in journals such as Molecular TherapyNucleic Acids, International Journal of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, European Journal of Immunology, and Neuropharmacology. She has received multiple awards, including the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and the Second Prize of the Shanghai Teaching Achievement Award.
