Progress in Studies of Memory Impairment of Diabetes in Clinic and Animal Models

Abstract: Diabetes could conceivably lead to cognitive impairment through chronic hyperglycemia. Diabetes-induced learning and memory impairment is the most common serious complication, and its ponderance is emerging as a common medical problem. Along with the research and production of anti-diabetes drugs, the animal models are well developed. In this paper, we reviewed the progress in studies of preparation in animal models of strep to zotocin-induced diabetic rats by intraperitoneal injection or Intracerebroventricular injection,and in studies of diabetes-induced cognize disorder in clinic.
