Establishing Modified Model of Chronic Aristolochic Acid Nephropathy In Rats

Abstract: Objective To establish chronic aristolochic acid (AA) nephropathy in rats. Methods Male SD rats were randomly divided into control and model group. The model group rats were given daily with AA 5 mg/kg intragastically，the control group rats were given equal amount of normal saline. The 24h urine and blood samples were collected for detection of indexes of renal function, and at the end of the 8th week, take their nephridial tissue to test the change of pathology. Result Along with feeding times，the level of the urine β2-MG and NAG enzyme exertion increased markedly and the damage of tubular inters titium after giving AA in tset groups. Conclusion The model of chronic A AN in rat had been finished basically.
