Abstract: Objective Discuss the safety of the ‘PiGuShiEr’（a special dispensation） on mice. Methods Feeding with the dispensation of ‘PiGuShiEr’ every other day, the effects on mice were observed including the increment of body weight, food efficiency ratio （FER）, viscera index （VI）, hemogram and metabolism mark of liver and kidney. Results ‘PiGuShiEr’ have a good FER（P＜0.05） and ‘PiGuShiEr’ can reduce the increment of body weight, blood-sugar lever, and TG （P＜0.05） without impairing the quality of living, hemogram and the metabolism mark of liver and kidney. Conclusion The ‘PiGuShiEr’ is a feasible and safe regimen for experimental mice, and it might improve the metabolism of liver and kidney to be beneficial of metabolic disease.
