Abstract: The pathogeneses and current situation of animal models of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy was reviewed. With the unique inbred genetic backgrounds and resemblance with what of human beings in anatomy and physiology, the prospective of the application of Banna Minipig Inbred Line as the model of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy was explored.
