Abstract: In order to establish a new long bone deficit model of large animal,an instrument,inter-locking medullary nail，is developed and manufactured according to anatomy datas of the goat, and then applied to fix the goat’s femoral deficit.Radiographic, macroscopic and histologic observations showed that the long bone deficit model of goat is worth wide applying to large animals.
