Abstract: To imitate the dysfunction of detrusor following benign prostatic hypertrophy in man，the bladder ncck of male rabbits were partial ligated. The weight、volumexde-trusor contractibility were measured 5 weeks after operation . The detected items were all changcd significantly in obstructed group. It may be used as an effective animal mod cl in studying the therapeutic methods for detrusor dysfunction following benign pro-static hypertrophy in man bccausc of its pathophysiological course mimicking BPH in man.
