Abstract: The Primary Contents analysis（PCA） of the scapula were carried out in M.mulatta distributing over Taihang mountains （Henan）. The variables of the scapula were compared with those of monkeys of the same species living in other regions in China （Sichuan, Yunnan，Hubei and Hunan provinces）.The results suggested that the scapular morphology of M. mulatta in Henan is significantly different from those race living in other regions. The morphological differences suggested that the scapular features play an important role in differentiating the subspecies and locomotor behavior of M. Mulatta in China.
