Abstract: Serum IgG antibody from rabbits artificially infected with Borrelia burgdorferi was detected with new — established Dot — ELISA,routine ELISA,IFA and CF, respectively. Ten serum samples from infected rabbits were examined, the results of Dot — ELISA showed 100%,90% and 70% coincidence with routine ELISA,IFA and CF respectively. while to 12 serum samples from healthy rabbits,it showed 100% coincidnce with ELISA, IFA and CF. All these suggested that Dot —ELISA may be a simple and convenient method for detecting serum IgG antibody against human and animal Lyme disease.
