Abstract: Thirty healthy Syrian golden hamsters, 6～11 weeks old, weighing 75～120g，were used to study the buccal pouch blood flow and hemorrheology. The results were as follows ：blood flow rate was 0.36±.01 mm/s，blood flow volume (104.55±4.27) ×10³μm³/s, blood viscosity 14.45±1.03/6.71±0.77cP，plasma viscosity 1.54±0.08cP， hematocrit 26.5±3.8mm, erythrocyte electrophoretic time 4.49±0.87s. These indices could serve as reference parameters for further study on microcirculation and hemorrheology in golden hamster.
