Abstract: Nine adult prolonged anestrum dogs were used for estrus induction by a combined treatment protocol including intramuscular injection of diethylstilbestrol ,HMG and HCG. The estrus induced dogs were mated with fertile males on a suitable date. Eight estrus cycles were induced , which resulted in 4 pregnancies with 1 miscarriage and 3 normal deliveries. In the combined treatment group,the litter size was obviously bigger than that of the dogs not treated with HMG. Two estrus induced animals were not pregnant but their next estrus cycle were occured 50 days later and successfully pregnant.
