Abstract: Infant-care behavior of cotton-top tamarin has a direct effect on infant morta-. lity. This study indicated that the involvement of parents in infant-care were related not only to the biparental experience in rearing infants, but also to the mother's nutritional status after parturition, and to the body weight and numbers of infant. Feeding with artificial milk is an important attempt to rear the forsaked babies successfully.
