Abstract: The examination of karyotype of Ba-ma mini-pig by means of peripheral blood lymphocytes culture showed that the diploid chromosomes number was 38, 18 pairs of autosomes and one pair of sex chromosomes in both boars （XY） and sows （XX）. The chromosomes were divided into four groups of A,B,C and D according to the standard of Reading Congress （1976）.The karyotype of the autosomes was 10 sm+ 4st+10m+12 t. The X chromosome was a metacentric chromosome whose length was between the 8th and 9th chromosome, while the Y chromosome was a smallest metacentric chromosome.
