• ZHANG Zhou is a Bachelor's degree holder and Senior Engineer, currently serving as the Director of the Laboratory Animal Facility at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Vice President of the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Science Association.

     

    He specializes in the scientific management of laboratory animals and research on animal models of human diseases. He has led various projects, including one each from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Strategic Support Project, Shanghai Young Scientists Fund, and the Institute's Outstanding Talent Fund. ZHANG Zhou, as a major participant, completed the project “Establishment of a Human Cancer Nude Mouse Tumor Model for Anti-Cancer Drug Research,” which won a third-class National Science and Technology Progress Award and a second-class Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award.
