TIAN Yong, Professor (Second Grade), Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is a recipient of the CAS Talent Program and serves as Principal Investigator of the laboratory animal field project under the National Key Research and Development Program of China during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. He currently serves as Director of the Animal Experiment Center at the Institute of Biophysics, CAS; Principal Investigator of the CAS Key Laboratory of Epigenetic Regulation and Intervention; Professor of Practice at the School of Medicine, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Head of the CAS Animal Experiment Platform Working Group; Vice President of the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Science; and Associate Editor-in-Chief of Animal Models and Experimental Medicine, among other positions. He has led multiple projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In recent years, he has published multiple SCI-indexed papers as corresponding or co-corresponding author in international academic journals including Journal of Hepatology (2025), Nucleic Acids Research (2025), Science Advances (2025), and Advanced Science (2025a, 2025b). He has received the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Science and the CAS Zhu Liyuehua Outstanding Teacher Award, among other honors.
