
YAN Mingxia, Ph.D., Research Professor, currently serves as Director at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. She also serves concurrently as Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Science Association and Vice Director of the Education, Training and Science Popularization Specialized Committee of the Shanghai Laboratory Animal Science Association.
In recent years, Yan Mingxia has been primarily engaged in the establishment of multiple tumor animal models, screening of highly metastatic tumor animal models, and investigations into the in vitro and in vivo functions of lung cancer metastasis-related molecules and the molecular mechanisms underlying metastasis.
She has published over twenty SCI-indexed papers as first or corresponding author and contributed to more than twenty additional publications. Her articles have appeared in journals such as Theranostics and Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding fifty.
As principal investigator, she has undertaken two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and eight projects under the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission's "Innovation Action Plan," with total funding of approximately three million yuan. She has also participated as a key member in projects under the National "973" Program and the National Major Science and Technology Research Program during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. As first inventor, she has filed five national invention patent applications and participated in five additional filings, of which three have been granted. She has contributed to two professional books and received one Third Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
