WANG Kezhou received his Doctor of Philosophy in Basic Veterinary Medicine from China Agricultural University. He currently serves as Executive Vice Dean (Executive Deputy Director) of the Laboratory Animal College (Shandong Provincial Laboratory Animal Center) at Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Academy of Medical Sciences), Research Professor, and Master's Supervisor in Pharmacology.

His research focuses primarily on gastrointestinal mucosal immunity and molecular pathology. Following the completion of his doctoral studies, he joined the Shandong Provincial Laboratory Animal Center, where he has been engaged in provincial-level laboratory animal management, testing, pathology, and toxicology.

He has led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two major projects under the Shandong Provincial Independent Innovation and Achievement Transformation Program, one Provincial Doctoral Fund project, two Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Research Program projects, and one sub-project under the National Key Research and Development Program. He currently leads one Shandong Provincial Key Research and Development Program project. He has published over forty papers in domestic and international journals, served as chief translator of two books, associate editor of one book, and contributing author of four books.

His professional appointments include Council Member of the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Science; Associate Editor-in-Chief of Laboratory Animal and Comparative Medicine; Editorial Board Member of Acta Laboratorium Animalis Scientia Sinica (Chinese Journal of Laboratory Animal Sciences) and Chinese Journal of Comparative Medicine; Vice Director of the Standardization Committee, Standing Committee Member of the Laboratory Animal and Toxicology Specialized Committee, Committee Member of the Experimental Pathology Specialized Committee, and Committee Member of the Environmental Control and Energy Conservation Specialized Committee of the Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Science; Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shandong Laboratory Animal Science Association; Vice Director of the Drug Toxicology Specialized Committee and Vice Director of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacology Specialized Committee of the Shandong Pharmacological Society; Deputy Secretary-General of the Shandong Toxicology Society; and Vice Director of the Veterinary Immunology Specialized Committee of the Shandong Immunology Society.
