SONG Guohua, professor (Second Grade), Ph.D., Doctoral Supervisor, and Postdoctoral Co-Supervisor; Deputy Director of the Laboratory Animal Center, Shanxi Medical University. Research interests focus on laboratory animal resources and human disease animal models. Principal Investigator of the Shanxi Provincial Key Innovation Team for "Creation and Utilization of New Laboratory Animal Resources"; recognized as a Leading Innovative Talent of the "Sanjin Elite" Program in Shanxi Province; and Director of the Laboratory Animal Science Popularization Base at Shanxi Medical University.

Concurrently serving as Chair of the Oral Disease Animal Model Committee, Chinese Association for Laboratory Animal Sciences (CALAS); Member of the Standardization Committee, CALAS; Member of the Laboratory Animal Testing Technology Committee, CALAS; Chair of the Shanxi Provincial Technical Committee for Laboratory Animal Standardization; and Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shanxi Provincial Laboratory Animal Society.

Principal Investigator of over 20 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial/ministerial programs. Led the development and promulgation of 18 local standards of Shanxi Province. Recipient of 11 academic awards, including the Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the CALAS Science and Technology Progress Award. Author of more than 90 peer-reviewed publications.

Recipient of the CALAS Outstanding Young Talent Award (2012) and the Shanxi Most Beautiful Science and Technology Worker Award (2021).
